The Empire State Society of Association Executives (ESSAE), is a group of professional association executives employed by trade, business, and professional associations based in New York State. ESSAE provides for the exchange of ideas among its members in many ways, but a big way it connects members is through events.

But first—a bit of backstory...
Over the years, Map D and ESSAE have partnered to help members (and the association itself) manage events. One event we've been proudest to partner on is the annual conference and trade show.
The ESSAE Annual Conference & Trade Show is the premier association management and meeting professionals conference and trade show in upstate New York. The annual one-day conference is about professional development, networking, and showcasing products and services. It is the place to interact with key decision-makers in the association and hospitality industries with education, networking, and a trade show bursting with suppliers of all types.
ESSAE uses Map D extensively for the online component of their annual meeting to allow everyone participating to be engaged, personalize their experience, know where they need to be, educate themselves on the presenters and topics, explore the vendor marketplace, and connect with other attendees. Map D's flexible registration system allows ESSAE to collect requests for booth space, assign exhibitors, accept deposits, and collect payments for their tradeshow.
